  1. As you may have noticed, I'm now spreading the EchoDisk as an
  2. AmigaGuide file.  If you do not already have AmigaGuide.Library
  3. in your LIBS: directory, it is freely downloadable from several
  4. points around the galaxy.

  7. Installation:

  9.    Hard drive: Create a directory, any name you want, and ASSIGN
  10.  
  11.                the logical assignment AmigaDisk4: to that
  12.                directory.  For those of you new to this sort of
  13.                thing, open a shell by double-clicking on the
  14.                SHELL icon, and type in:
  15.  
  16.                ASSIGN AmigaDisk4: path_to_your_directory
  17.  
  18.    Floppy:     Easy.  Name the disk AmigaDisk4 and then just
  19.                click on the icon.

  21. Requirements:  As far as I know, all you need is a drive to run
  22.                it from, and AmigaGuide somewhere in your command
  23.                path.

  27.                The sound sample will probably crash the 040, as
  28.                the sound player is compressed with powerpacker
  29.                2.30.  While this makes for small executables, it
  30.                makes it hard to use on some 040s.  SAVE ALL WORK
  31.                before trying it, or use your own sound player.
